Teaching grade-schoolers street smarts - EP.0026

6 min, 35 sec

Take a walk with us through Ed's Neighborhood, a custom-built, interactive streetscape designed to teach grade-schoolers how to safely navigate our streets. Ed's Neighborhood is named after the late Mayor Ed Lee, a champion of the City's Vision Zero policy, which aims to eliminate all traffic-related deaths and serious injuries by 2024. In this episode, we'll take you behind the scenes, introduce you to the designers and builders, and join Jean Parker Elementary students on the inaugural tour.
