Applicants are responsible for securing funding for all Love Our Neighborhoods projects. Funding may come from neighbors, neighborhood associations, businesses, private foundations, public funds or grants.
Established community groups seeking city assistance may apply for one such grant opportunity managed by the City Administrator’s Office. The Community Challenge Grants program recognizes our communities’ interdependence and collective strength and funds projects that foster resilience, safety and belonging for all. The program provides city funding for community-led, neighborhood improvement projects. Possible eligible projects include Love Our Neighborhood Tier 2 projects and some Tier 3 projects. Be sure to visit the Community Challenge Grants website and talk with staff to confirm eligibility.
